Speaking Engagements
Each of us has a unique story to tell, and although sharing our stories can be a great source of healing, it can also be incredibly difficult to do. Experiencing the gradual erosion of my family due to addiction, while bearing the heavy burden of maintaining our hidden struggles, entrenched me in a pattern of toxic codependency for over thirty years.

Even when I initially broke free from my family's emotional prison, I was terrified to tell my story. As I began writing my memoir, the more I talked about the emerging themes with people, the more I realized how so many of us share different versions of the same struggles. My personal journey of healing has been a prolonged and iterative process, yet one that I find valuable enough to share. I am now driven to offer insights in the hope of assisting others in discovering their own paths towards living a happier, healthier more authentic life.

My areas of expertise are: Emotional Intelligence, Trauma-Informed Care, Family and Partner Addiction and Codependence. My goal is to use my story to help my audience feel connected, and to realize they are not alone. I create a safe space where individuals feel validated and understood, while honoring their own personal experiences.
