Speaking Engagements

Each of us has a unique story to tell, and although sharing our stories can be a great source of healing, it can also be incredibly difficult to do. Growing up in a family being silently destroyed by addiction, and feeling the crushing pressure to keep the family secret kept me stuck in a cycle of toxic codependence for over three decades.

Even when I initially broke free from my family's emotional prison, I was terrified to tell my story. As I began writing my memoir, the more I talked about the emerging themes with people, the more I realized how so many of us share different versions of the same struggles. My personal journey of healing has been a prolonged and iterative process, yet one that I find valuable enough to share. I am now driven to offer insights in the hope of assisting others in discovering their own paths towards living a happier, healthier more authentic life.

My areas of expertise are: Emotional Intelligence, Trauma-Informed Care, Family and Partner Addiction and Codependence. My goal is to use my story to help my audience feel connected, and to realize they are not alone. I create a safe space where individuals feel validated and understood, while honoring their own personal experiences.
